Tell your Dad how much he measures up by creating this pop-out tool box card using the Cricut Explore and its on-line software, Design Space. Add your Dad’s name to make it extra special: the Cricut Explore will write and cut and Design Space will access both Cricut and system stored fonts.
Note: The term Cricut Explore applies to any of the Explore machines: Explore, Explore One or Explore Air.

How to Make
1. Connect the Cricut Explore to the pc/laptop/Mac, log on to your Design Space account and in the ‘Cards: Father’s Day’ category, locate and select the ‘Father’s Day Tool Kit Card’ project.
2. This project makes a card measuring 4” x 6”. Click ‘Customise’ to re-size the card or alter or add any details. Otherwise click ‘Make It Now’ to create the project as it has been designed.

Remember to group all the images when resizing so that all the layers remain in proportion.
3. Cut the images from the coloured cardstock.

Use the scraper tool to apply the cardstock to the cutting mat to ensure good contact and no air bubbles. Use the spatula tool to carefully remove the cut images, minimising damage to both the image and the cutting mat.4. Fold the yellow tool box along the score lines and adhere it together to create a box.
Top Tip! . . .
Use the scraper tool to give a strong clean fold.5. Carefully glue the bottom and side layers into the box; this will reinforce it.
6. Glue the layers together for each of the tools and ruler wrap. Embellish the tools with brads.
7. Fold the envelope along the score lines and glue the tabs.
