Hi Mummies
I am a 29 year old with a 2 year old son. Me and my Husband have been together 12 years and married for 10. We held off having a baby for a while as we both knew it would change our work lives forever and we both love to work. I work full time from home now since my child has been born and my hubby works long days and nights most of the time. As my child is now 2 and half we are just starting to get our life back a little bit now as he is in nursery and is in a good daily routine. My hubby really wants another baby like now but Im not sure I even want one in the future. Every time he mentions it I think starting from the beginning all over again sleepless nights, no date nights, long days, parenting struggles and on top of that now I would also have another child to look after. When I talk to my mum and my friends about it they are all so shocked to hear I dont want another child. What is going on why is it a problem if I just want the one child??? I get ” He cant be an only child he will be weird” or ” You will regret not having another later”. All I want is my little boy I can give him everythig this way and not have to worry about money and can give him all the love in the world. Does anyone just have the one child these days??
